About Noel Jones
Noel Jones: A Lifelong Dedication to Sacred Music
Noel Jones is passionately committed to sharing the beauty of sacred music. His journey began at a young age when, at just 13, he became the organist and cantor for daily Latin Masses. This early start laid the foundation for a lifelong mission to share the grace of God’s music with others.
Jones is the creator of the Sacred Music Library, a resource dedicated to supporting Catholic musicians around the world. The library offers a wealth of free music and essential books to help build liturgical music programs, even in the poorest parishes. These resources, considered essential in the field, are available for free download and also as printed books through Amazon’s global distribution network.
Jones brings an impressive foundation in church music to his work. He holds an Associate Certificate from the American Guild of Organists, which certifies his skills in playing, harmonization, transposition, and improvisation of church hymns. As the director of music for a Catholic church transitioning to a new basilica-style building, he successfully grew the choir from 16 to 46 singers. This experience eventually led him to a new field: editing and publishing Catholic liturgical music, including creating guides to help pianists transition into organists and enhance their skills in Catholic parishes.
